You have to know when it’s funny.
Jimmy Fallon is funny. He was the right choice for a late night show. Comedy is obviously constantly changing, and people are so much more vulgar and attention deficit about how they like their comedy now. People like dry humor more now, and humor that is slow acting, yet quick to the point. Jimmy Fallon exudes the simplicity this society needs and wants in its cup of comedy.
I was so completely and fully and wholly and unquestionably wrong about Shutter Island. It was amazing. More than amazing. I want to watch it over and over again.
I think my expectations and excitement for Legion were crossed with Shutter Island and they went through the Bermuda Triangle placing my would-be wants and predictions on the opposite side of reality.
I forgot how much I liked this movie when I saw it. Looking for it and buying it.
I just watched Daybreakers at a friend’s house. It was pretty dumb. I think it could have been condensed into five minutes. I can’t wait until vampire-madness subsides…or until they stop humanizing flesh eating monsters.

A couple of my friends have expressed a lot of enthusiasm about this movie. Can we talk about John Travolta for a minute? I understand that it’s a step up from “Old Dogs” but still. There are so much better roles for him. He doesn’t look like he’s going to fit.
Who am I kidding though; action movies make me weak in the knees.
